Liked your site. Down loaded the DMX address program. Made a similar program for my Psion. Was looking for a pdf copy of the important tech data that your site contained. Have got a copy of 'Recommended Practice for DMX512' by Adam Bennette but it's alway good to have more. Thanks again for an interesting site.

Hi!!! Nice page. I'm looking for everything I can get about DMX512. I'm developing my own consoles and power-racks, but I need a way to make them better. Now I'm trying with analog inputs, but I want to try DMX. Also, I'm looking for phase control circui s, because the one I have is not the best -it's a low cost lamp dimmer-. Thanks for the info. I did not read your stuff yet, just your first page got me laughing. Just great! I want to build a small console for small gigs I am doing for non fortunate choirs. That' s my activity field when I am not at the office where I earn my indispensable money to have fun in doing something else! I can build almost everything at the company (cabinets, sheet metal, etc) and at home in my little shop. But I need diagrams. I m planning to build my console with 0-10VDC control and standard microphone cable between the console and the dimmers. But I am wondering if I could not build a MIDI controller and have all the dimmers connect in a daisy chain, selecting their own signal n the same cable. I am going to investigate on the net for that. Just happy I found your site at the first search. This was very encouraging. Best regards Michel

Nice to found a page like this. I use to work more in cinema and in TV but in dramatics and serials, so I dont know well all these things like moving lights, DMX, consoles,... But I want to learn about it. If someone reads this an know how to get some do umentation about DMX and all this related to the lightning but in spectacles, teather and music, I would be very grateful. I am interested in information in spanish in english and in french. Thank you and good luck.
